Important: Two Confirmations

You will receive TWO separate emails:

• Confirmation #1 (Instant): Booking confirmation immediately after payment with order reference and receipt. This confirms your order was received.
• Confirmation #2 (After Eid): Sacrifice completion confirmation within 72 hours after Eid. This confirms your Qurbani was performed and meat distributed.

How does HNCO verify the sacrifice was done correctly?

Who decides which families receive the meat?

Recipient selection is a collaborative process. Step 1: Local mosques and community leaders nominate families based on their knowledge of the community's needs. Step 2: HNCO partners conduct home visits to verify eligibility (income, living conditions, family size). Step 3: Families must meet at least 3 of 5 criteria. Step 4: Cross-reference with other aid organisations to avoid duplication. Can I choose which specific family receives my Qurbani?

However, you CAN choose the country (Pakistan or Kenya) where your Qurbani is performed.

What happens if my Qurbani cannot be completed?

Extremely rare (less than 0.1% of cases), but if it occurs: Reasons may include payment failure, animal illness, or force majeure. HNCO's response: First priority is to replace animal and complete sacrifice within valid Qurbani days (10th-13th Dhul-Hijjah). If replacement impossible, full refund issued within 7 days. How is the meat kept fresh during distribution?

Can I visit the slaughterhouse or distribution site?
