This Ramadan, while all Muslims will look forward to breaking fast with their loved ones, not everyone has the means to provide food for their families at the end of a long day.
In fact, not having enough food to eat is a daily occurrence for many Muslims in Pakistan, Indonesia and parts of Africa, so while we prepare to fast this May for its religious significance, we also spare a thought for those who go hungry every day, often through no fault of their own.
HNCO will be providing hot meals for Iftar as part of its Ramadan Food Drive, with money raised through charitable donations. Food parcels for families will also be provided, to those who cannot afford their own, in several locations across the globe.
Donations to the HNCO Non-Profit Organisation - including profits from the proceeds of Ramadan 2023 Ajwah Dates will all go to help the common cause of feeding the elderly, sick, poor and needy - as part the charity’s ongoing efforts.
HNCO is a Non Profit Organisation that aims to improve the human welfare of the needy through efforts at both a local and global level. Projects that have been supported by the organisation include emergency relief, food and clothing for the homeless, well digging, educational book and school supplies distribution, and help for orphans on an international level.
To support the cause, anyone wishing to donate is invited to sponsor one of three packages, or if they prefer, they can contact the charity directly to make an individual pledge.
