Last Khatm Ul Khawajagan of Sha`ban 1432

This historic gathering, preserved on video for the worldwide Naqshbandi community, captured the final Khatm ul Khawajagan of the month of Sha`ban, 1432 AH — one of the most spiritually charged moments on the Sufi calendar. Led by Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani, the gathering brought together hundreds of murids, seekers and guests in a sacred circle of remembrance ahead of the blessed month of Ramadan.

What is Khatm ul Khawajagan?

Khatm ul Khawajagan — literally "the seal of the masters" — is a group dhikr ceremony unique to the Naqshbandi-Haqqani Sufi order. It is a carefully ordered sequence of Qur'anic recitation, salawat upon the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and silent and vocal remembrance of Allah transmitted through an unbroken chain of spiritual masters reaching back to the Prophet himself. Performed weekly in Naqshbandi centres around the world, its recitation in the final days of Sha`ban holds particular significance as it prepares hearts for the mercy of Ramadan.
