    About Hajjah Naziha Organisation

Welcome to HNCO. Hajjah Naziha Organisation is a UK non profit Organisation with a global outreach. A self-proclaimed interfaith non profit organisation, the team prides itself of allocation of funding based on its own motto: help where it's needed most. This organisation that relies on the surrounding community for much of its fundraising, and that same community relies on the non profit organisation for regular care and at times, urgent relief.

The vast majority of fundraising by HNCO is related to through religious observations such as Zakat, Zakat al Fitr, Fidya, Kaffarah, Dhul Hijjah, Qurbani, and the sale of Medina dates, during Ramadan. The allocation of fundraising, however, will never be based on race, religion, creed, colour, or class.

Arguably, the power of HNCO lies in its identification of areas that need help followed by swift and efficient allocation of donations to those that need it most, whether on a local or global level. In some cases, HNCO will partner with carefully chosen non profit organisations and associations to assist on niche projects or in areas that require specialist knowledge and/or may have access issues. Read more about how your donations are spent and our commitment to transparency.

    HNCO Non Profit Organisation Supporters

HNCO's supporters are some of the most generous and considerate individuals in the world; as such the organisers see it as a privilege and a responsibility to allocate these funds effectively and efficiently. As a non profit organisation, HNCO assists the advancement of education and awareness of Islam as a religion to explaining how Muslims honour religious obligations for the better of others. Through HNCO's press and promotional materials, the non profit organisation also explains how and why these obligations are fulfilled, further helping to promote good relations within the local community and on a global level. And, in 2020 the team brought home the Highly Commended prize for 'Charity of the Year' at The 8th British Muslim Awards. The ceremony, held at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel on the 31st January, is an annual event which recognises the success of individuals, groups and companies throughout the UK.

    Projects & Programmes

HNCO Non Profit Organisation is probably best known for its overseas initiatives such as annual food drives and installing water pumps in some of the most remote areas of Pakistan, India and Africa. Despite its global reach however, the UK team of volunteers regularly lend a hand much closer to home. HNCO receives donations from all over the world, and reciprocate with aid all over the world, but there is still a lot of work to be done at a local level. Teamwork and collaboration is the backbone of every community at home or abroad, this is the foundation of all fundraising and voluntary endeavours at HNCO.

    HNCO Helper

On 'home soil', HNCO and its helpers attend regular voluntary homeless feed services set up across multiple local towns - including winter warmer and hygiene packs, a free hair cutting service and Covid-19 packs with advice leaflets - community outreach programs have been completed with hospices and hospitals in Lancashire and Manchester, and thousands of pounds were raised through a Christmas supermarket bag-packing drive with volunteers from Nelson & Colne College, plus team members have made appearances on regional radio and in local newspapers.

Overseas, the Safe Drinking Water program means that water pump installations are now in the hundreds, 50 men and women have been sent on a once-in-a-lifetime Hajj journey to Mecca, and annual Ramadan Food Drive and Qurbani projects have fed more families than ever before, and – in conjunction with world-renowned non-profit organisation Muslim Hands – HNCO has helped to fund a free cataract clinic in Pakistan. In 2020, the Build a Mosque project was launched and two buildings were successfully completed in the first 12 months. Then, in 2021 HNCO partnered with P4NGOs to mobilise an emergency Palestine appeal: Free from Fear, to help rebuild houses, provide clean water and food parcels, buy toys for children and replant olive trees.

    HNCO Overseas Work

    HNCO Marketing

HNCO HQ streamlined marketing and admin activities to the bare minimum so that they could get 'feet on the ground'. Homeless feeds were ramped up and additional services were handed out alongside hot food and snacks, such as health advice leaflets, hand sanitizer, face masks. HNCO actively sought out local food banks, church and community centres, refuges to see what they needed and how it could help, and sent educational books to prisoners in the North West as visitation and social time was restricted.

    The Heart of HNCO

HNCO Non Profit Organisation is dedicated to preserving the legacy of Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil. His daughter, Hajjah Naziha Adil Kabbani is a descendant of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), through both her maternal and paternal lineages. She married Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani, Shaykh Nazim's deputy.

For more than forty years, Shaykh Hisham and Hajjah Naziha have advanced Shaykh Nazim's legacy by directing various emergency disaster relief and humanitarian aid projects in Banda Aceh, Indonesia, NWFP, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Turkey. HNCO is the natural evolution of their past work to advance those outreach projects dearest to Shaykh Nazim's heart.
