organisations Across the globe are rallying to send aid and assistance to Palestine to preserve. And protect Bab ar-Rahmah, the 1,400-year-old cemetery of Masjid Al-Aqsa. Named after a gate of the Noble Sanctuary. This itself notes in various Islamic writings. Bab ar-Rahmah and Masjid Al-Aqsa hold major significance for Muslims. Scriptures and sources mention Masjid Al-Aqsa as a place so spiritually special that elders would travel here at the end of their life to be buried at one of three sites; including Bab ar-Rahmah. The location of the Masjid associated with the Day of Judgement; geographically. It may also contain the al-Sirat marker from which the al-Sirat bridge will hang. Even the great messenger of Allah, Musa (as) requested to laid to rest here.
Any cemetery should revere, respect, and beloved, by Bab ar-Rahmah. And international organizations have taken the responsibility to repair. And replace damaged plaques and tombstones, not just allowing those that they dedicate to the eternal dignity we all deserve, but for future generations to visit this special place and pay their respects.
