Feeding the Hungry

FEED THE HUNGRY
1 in every 9 not eating today.
Recent statistics suggest that almost 800 million of the world's population go to bed hungry every night. That's over 12 percent or one in every nine. Starvation is indiscriminate and can affect people of every age, colour, and gender. HNCO will work wherever it can and wherever it's needed. Through our worldwide partners we are currently providing food to the hungry in various locations around the world including the homeless in and around different counties in the UK.
HNCO's past Ramadan Food Drives have seen money raised through traditional donations of Zakat, Fidya, Kaffarah and through the sales of Medina Ajwa dates fund the 'Feed a Village' project of 30 villages in 30 days across Pakistan and India. Food parcels of meat, flour, rice and more were handed out to some of the most remote and poverty-stricken areas to men, women and children who need so little but have even less.

Lots of us take for granted the fact that we have a full fridge and food cupboard at home but for too many the time in between meals is unacceptably long. Those who go to bed hungry every night and wake up even hungrier in the morning aren't just those we remember from the 1980's and 1990's in non profit videos. People live in poverty in modern cities right alongside luxury restaurants and hotel complexes. There are people going hungry in every walk of life, whether from a drought-affected crop that has devastated a harvest, or a change in personal circumstances has led to a referral to a local food bank. Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Q.S & Hajjah Naziha whenever they visited Medina
Whenever Mawlana Shaykh Hisham & Hajjah Naziha visited Medina, HNCO always took the opportunity to serve the poor by organising a number of food drives to feed the poor.
The most rewarding deed is feeding a person who is hungry
The most rewarding deed is feeding a person who is hungry, giving food to people and this is something that every single person around the world can act upon.
The benefits of Feeding someone is unmeasurable, this can be seen when you read about the lives of the pious ones; men & women who spent their entire lives in the service of people by feeding them with no differentiation of faith, colour, creed, class or anything else. Their main purpose was to feed the creation of Allah so that they can survive and say Shukr to the provider.
We can act in this good practice and join Mawlana Shaykh Hisham and Hajjah Naziha in continuing to revive this practice in the illuminated city of Medina, where the Prophet Muhammedﷺ conducted this act during his lifetime and making it a commendable sunnah. Support HNCO by donating today and part take in this blessed act and continue the legacy of this sadaqa jariyah that has been undertaken for centuries.
Please donate & support this blessed initiative in serving mankind in the way prescribed by Allah Almighty, His Beloved Prophet Muhammedﷺ and the Awliya.
